Building a better understanding for sarcoma patients through community awareness.

Sock it to Sarcoma! was the vision of Abbie Basson, who was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma in May 2009 at the age of 17. It was her hope to make a difference to the lives of those with Sarcoma by improving awareness and raising funds to support vital Sarcoma research.

All of us at Sock it to Sarcoma! would like to congratulate everyone involved with the Fortix Volleyball Challenge, particularly Volleyball WA and Fortix for creating such a wonderful event.

It was a true privilege to be part of such an energetic and fun afternoon and have the opportunity to promote awareness of sarcoma.

The generosity of everyone involved will help us to fund vital medical research into the causes and treatment for Sarcoma. A rare and aggressive primary bone and connective tissue cancer that affects far too many children, adolescents and young adults.

A heartfelt THANK YOU! to everyone for helping us to Sock it to Sarcoma!
